Esthetician & Skin Care Products > Scar Removal Tips

What are the best scar removal products out in the market?

Peels can be great, but if they're deep I'd refer them to a physician who performs dermaneedling.

It depends on how long the client has had the scar? So far, what have they done to treat the scar? Q-Switch laser, in between peels and I recommend IMAGE brand for skin care on treating scar. A sunscreen is a must, as always.

Try Dermarollers twice a month,1-1,5mm + Aloe Vera Gel bid for 3-6 months. Natural restoration. Excellent results!

Fraxel laser 1550 also works really well on most types of scars. More than one treatment is needed however. It even works on darker skin colours as the chromophore is water.

I have seen amazing long term outcomes with Dermarolling, the goal of use being both to trigger thickening in stretched skin and to release particularly tightened collagen bundles. Very effective with the correct practitioner, indication, and of course: proper post-care management.

Inject Plasma Rich phase liquified concentrated growth factors & also demaroll the fibrin phase

Fraxel is best when initiallised in the early stages of healing. I have used the modality for over 5 years and in my experience patients should expect about a 30% improvement. and yes multiple >5 treatments would be required at 2-4 weeks intervals

I've seen results with physician-performed dermarolling/needling that surpassed anything w/ Fraxel. I'd say it's definitely worth checking out.

Any fractional treatment (depends on the depth of the scar CO2, RF, microneedle, erbium...) in combination with some peeling option (chemical or mechanical) would give great results.

What does everyone think about Rhonda Allison skin Care Line? Pros and cons would be great I use it and offer it in my spa, and I love it but just want to hear what other peoples thoughts were about the line. Thanks so much :)

I had CO2 laser 5 years ago and it removed all my acne scars and hyperpigmentation. Amazingly, it has not recurred! I'd recommend CO2 laser it for anyone who has deep scars or bad hyperpigmentation spots--ones where products or peels just cant get the desired results.
