Cosmetic IPL Laser Reviews & Comparisons > Best Skin Tightening Machine

I am interested to buy skin tightening machine in our clinic. Have taken a look at brands like ILipo and Accent--but these are expensive. Can you please help me out?

I suggest you look into the TriPollar radiofrequency device. This warms and tightens skin to reduce the appearance of fat. The heat allows collagen to "remodel.

Hello Jamie,

RF skin tightening is recently popular, popularly purported to be effective, and completely unproven scientifically.

You must first realize that any for of skin tightening amounts to transdermal heating, and not much more. While manufacturers may make claims, the only devices FDA approved for skin tightening are specifically only approved for transdermal heating.

With that said, I would recommend the Cutera Titan XL. It is very effective, and cost effective. Every 10,000 shots could yield the practitioner a $70,000 profit.

70K from a Titan XL? Wow! Can you break that down for us?

A thought,

I am known for willfully, technically, and thoroughly answering questions for people who contact me directly. Childish antagonists on the internet (Trolls) will only get so much as a response as is necessary to correct any misinformation promoted by these individuals. Should anyone actually question the profit structure for the Titan XL, they are more than welcome to contact me directly, and I will not only provide you with facts and figures, but I will provide you with real world contacts who do a minimum of $70,000 annually in profit per Titan head.

A simple task:

1- What is the average pulses per treatment on a Titan XL?

2- What is the average cost of the Titan XL?

3- What is the average cost per pulse to the practitioner?

4- What is the average income per pulse?

If you come up with a number less than $70,000 as a profit margin, you are doing something terribly wrong.

How do you measure fat loss?can you demonstrate fat break down ?are there any clinical studies that prove efficacy in fat break down?

The Titan XL is not FDA approved for fat loss. I doubt any body contouring device, or skin tightening device is.

Try the EndyMed. It is a tripolar non invasive device for skin tightening and cellulite reduction.

I would suggest looking into Exilis manufactured by BTL. The results of fat reduction and skin tightening are truly impressive and very consistent. It's a workhorse without consumables.

iLipo isn't a skin tightening machine.
Accent, the older model, i think they had it during 2007-2008 (just Accent, not XL, Elite etc...) is one of the best in terms of results, doesn't do any problems, i had mine since 2007, 0 problems, 0 maintenance needed and it doesn't have any running cost. You open it and it works, no need to replace anything there.
Only down side is that it's abit difficult to work with it as you need to rotate the handpeice on the body all the time for something like 30 minutes. Gets tiring.
I'm sure you can find an Accent machine like that used for cheap.

RF is the best nonivasive technology available today. You need bipolar, 6mhz RF that is focused about 2-4 mm into the subcutaneous and heats very quickly. You can purchase a system like this for under $12k.

07.20 | Unregistered CommenterRanieri

If fat reduction is of concern, 6 MHz and/or bi-polar RF will not do much. Simple physics.

07.25 | Unregistered CommenterPieper

Working with Exilis right now and it is one of the best I have worked with! Melts fat and tightens, most do not do both!

07.30 | Unregistered CommenterTerrance

We use the Coolsculpt laser in our medspa. It freezes the fat and your body expels through excretion. We also use Exilis for our clients who have undergone Tickle Lipo. Works great for tightening. I've seen good results with both, Good luck!

We just got the Venus Freeze & at 43-44 C we get great results on legs, stomach & lower buttocks. I'm anxious to see results for neck/nasal labial fold areas too!

RF works great on fat reduction but all depends on the characteristics of RF. Bi-polar is mostly for skin tightening and penetration is minimal therefore there is no meaningful fat reduction. Adding unipolar to bipolar, a tri-polar configuration, reaches slightly deeper. For the effective fat reduction look at monopolar devices with lower frequencies. Remember that higher frequency = less penetration.

Thank you to everybody for your valuable advice ..It will definitely help me in taking decision. it is coming up in Indian cities but still not well adopted by customers. Please suggest me any other good health business plans which could be lucrative.

RF is for skin tightening at higher frequency and 1mhz is more for pain relief but RF does not have long term effect on fat. The removal of the temporary fluid mobilization by RF is aided thru the lymphatic system by the vacuum of endermologie.

09.14 | Unregistered CommenterT.J.

I am not sure about long term effect of RF on fat reduction. It all depends on patient's lifestyle. There is no reason for RF fat reduction to be a short term solution and I am not aware of any study that indicates the longevity of fat reduction by RF. The same goes for long term results of any, non-invasive and invasive, procedure for fat removal. The proportion of total body fat content in the state of health is dependent on factors that are under our control. All fat reduction procedures simply reduce fat; whether it will remain at this new level is up to us.

Has anyone used cavilipo or cavi sculpt ? I'm I the US and they are fairly new here. Everyone claims their machine is the best so I am trying to research the best I can.

Reaction by Viora. It is multi-frequency RF and incorporates a vacuum modality for skin tightening, cellulite and circumferential reduction. Reaction is a full body device, complete with 3 handpieces and no ongoing consumables.

lipofirm plus is an incredibly effective medical cert cavitation and radio frequency device. it is europe's number one body contouring device and is made by evlaser, the worlds longest running medical laser manufacturer.

Seriously check out Sciton Skintyte II

There are few devices that are based on RF and/or US. Most work well, some exceptionally well. The only advice I could give you get involved with treatment personally and you must understand the properties of each energy you use. Otherwise results are purely accidental.

Ask questions such as: what is temperature goal and why? is the goal the same for fat reduction and skin tightening the same? What is the target temperature? eg. if treatment is for fat reduction what is the temperature you can achieve in adipose layer? Do you have any means to monitor deeper tissue temperature? (There is no mathematical correlation between surface and deeper tissue temperatures).

There are many other questions that are important but not knowing the answers to the above will make any device half-useless and owner "disappointed". Simple understanding is the key to successful treatment.

Consider Exilis. It has a $4 disposable & the other machines on the market are quite expensive and have high per treatment costs on top of the expense of the machine.

02.3 | Unregistered CommenterTHolls

Viora Reaction leases, great start up incentives! I do not work for them but use the skin tightening machine The Reaction and love it and the company too!

03.14 | Unregistered CommenterNoeLia

Does anyone have experience with the Eclipse 3 Deep or the Viora Reaction?

I am also considering introducing lasers into our new clinic. I need result-driven, effective and cost efficient models . I'd welcome personal recommendations for slimming devices:
RF cavitation , endo massage , IPL, laser hair removal , skin rejuvenation etc

04.25 | Unregistered CommenterEmz

we supply the laser all kinds of laser machines. i can recommed you several.

What about the issues of purchasing a used machine. Will manufacturers make repairs if a machine is out of warranty which is usually the case with anything more than 2 years old. Does anyone have experience trying to get these machines serviced or obtaining a warranty after it has lapsed?
