Cosmetic IPL Laser Reviews & Comparisons > Current (2015) best YAG/Alex combination laser ?

There has been a lot of discussion on this forum regarding hair reduction lasers but I could not really tell how current the machines under discussion were. Some of the devices talked about are obviously quite old. The most talked about machines offering dual lasers for hair are Candela's Gentlemax Pro and Cynosure's Elite (/Elite Plus). Both of these machines have been updated I am told with changes to the software issue and shutter for the Gentlemax and larger spot sizes of up to 24mm and increased speed for the Elite Plus. I am wondering if anyone has experience with the newer machines or recent updates to software/hardware ? Have issues with the Elite Plus fibre been addressed ? Is the Elite Plus appreciably faster than the Elite ? How does it compare to the speed of GentleMax Pro ? I have seen the Elite and a few years older GentleMax in use and both users were happy with them.

You should also look into Fotona's SP Dynamis--http://www.fotona.com/en/products/1189/sp-line/

It uses Nd:YAG making it safe for all skin types.

I have dealt with all of the above mentioned lasers and the best on the market currently for hair removal is any of the above. Candela and Cynosure are both expensive and whilst good lasers are sold on their reputation. The SP Dynamis again is a great laser and excellent on dark skins but Nd:Yag alone is never going to be the gold standard for lighter skin types.
A new laser to enter the market is a 240watt (candela is 130 watt) 30mm spot size as either a round fibre or a 27mm x27mm Square pulse!, Nd:Yag and Alex as well as blend mode so both fire at the same time meaning even better results, in built smoke evacuator to get rid of plume, in built camera for zooming in on lesions and such like and to show clients, in built viewer so maintenance can be done and diagnostics without been on site, self changing lamps, best in the business
