IPL & Laser Treatments > Pixel QS from Alma

Non-ablative Fractional Resurfacing with the Pixel QS from Alma, is this to good to be true? Have anyone any experience with this treatment?

If it sounds to good to be true.....well we have all been there....It probably is too good to be true.

No its not the same, its this one

In my opinion this entire product's treatment is labeled incorrectly. It's a Q-Switched 1064 laser that offers "non-ablative skin resurfacing." Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't skin resurfacing taking layers off of the skin so that it heals with a fresher and more rejuvenated appearance - hence the resurfacing?? This procedure is just collagen stimulation, which will give a tightening effect on the skin, although why they are promoting a fractional treatment for a no-downtime procedure just doesn't make sense to me. I can just foresee uneven facial rejuvenation if that's the case. Anyone have any luck using this?

Yes, i would like to know also if anyone have any experience with this treatment. .. :)

Does not make any sense. Why would you want to fractionate a q-switched laser anyway! Specially as you would use low fluence QS Nd-Yag for facial rejuvenation which does not have any downtime. More marketing then science..me thinks! They are calling this laser face lift......why, this is zero lift. You would see immediate tightening with anything..from LED, to RF to long pulsed Yag. Does this last???
