I had a similar experience at Surface Medical Spa in Layton. When I began treatment they told me the treatment was guaranteed for life or any further treatments would be free. After the set of treatments I still had unwanted hair. They then proceeded to tell me that they changed their policy to only be guaranteed for a year. I continued to get the 'free' treatments for the next year. Every time I came they were very rude to me and kept inferring that they couldn't help me anymore, but I insisted they live up to their agreement. So after the end of that year and at least 14 treatments, I still had hair in the areas treated. I am fair skinned with dark hair, so this really shouldn't have been an issue. I won't be going back there.

I am thinking of having smarter lipo at Surface Medical Spa in Layton with Dr. Barson. I am a little nervous. Has anyone had this procedure with him? What was your experience and pain level?

I was treated at Surface Medical Spas in Park City by Dr. Barson along with a friend of mine. I feel I wasted a lot of money. While Dr. Barson 'positions' himself as a 'cosmetic surgeon', I found out later that he is not. In addition, my interactions with Dr. Barson were very much along the lines of Brittney above. I would not recommend Surface Medical Spas.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I also feel I wasted my money. I had lipo smooth or something and paid to have it fixed after the first time Dr. Barson screwed it up and it still looks horrible. I feel the whole staff is very rude and don't even post their policy. Thy just say "this is our policy". I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't do it!

You guys are all pretty ridiculous and I feel that I have to stand up for a company I know is wonderful. I've been going to Surface for years (since 2005) and they have been nothing but courteous and have done so much for me and a few members of my family!! Dr. Barson himself i would trust my life with, and he has never been rude at all. I would recommend them 110%!! :D

I received a treatment from Surface Medical Spas in Layton and was very unhappy with how I was treated and my experience there. I am not sure if there is someone that could help me with my problem. I went back in to the doctor , Dr. Aaron Barson in Layton and told him my concerns and he was very rude and unhelpful. So I was just wanting to see if Surface Medial Spas was something where they all had to perform the same way and meet the same requirements or of he is the only hope I had for a good experience there. I would appreciate any help I could receive.
Sincerely,
Brittney
