I need any feedback from people who have dealt with JLJ united from in Austin Texis or Leon Darden or MSD Holdings
I sent a laser unit (NDyag 1064 from Cutera) I was charged several thousand $5000 by
Leon Darden who claim to be an associate at JLJ. He sent back the laser unit not functioning. I had to hire another laser technician to have my laser repaired. Leon Darden caused for many thousand dollars of dammage to my laser(I have a laser report from a competent technician explaining what this Leon Darden did wrong:he used old O-rings and he does not know how to repair Cutera lasers)
Leon Darden billed me through a company called MSD holdings. This make things more complicated in the sense that I'm not sure of who I should persue and when I filled a complaint to my credit card company this made things much complicated.
I am seeking legal advice. Meanwhile I would like to know if someone might have some information to share about other wrongdoings from this individual and these companies that I've mentioned.

One of the most effective ways to resolve your complaint is to report it to dotmed.com. Dotmed is a community of customers and vendors where they come together to buy and sell. The Refurb Shop is listed as well as JLJ United, Inc. Because David Darden owns part of both companies, I suggest you report your dealing with David Darden to dotmed. I would also rate both companies and attached the compliant to both companies. Dotmed has an ethics policy and if anyone is found to do bad business dotmed will black list them and the company. Make sure to use his hold name. " David Leon Darden"

My name is Bob and I was reading these posting. I have one question that Mr. W posed in his posting. Who is MSD Holdings and why bill through that company instead of JLJ United the company who did the work? Is MSD Holding part of JLJ United?

Mr Leon the frauder: can you answer this question how come i was dealing with you while you were answering the phone at JLJ united and send me email from a JLJ email adress and making me think that i was dealing with JLJ united and you charged under MSD Holding. I do not understand that and it is very dishonnest since i autorised JLJ united to bill me and MSD holding is the biller: I think you have to ask yourself some question: why are you trying to use other compagnies for a transaction that was between me and JLJ united or all of these compagnies are fraudulent? I have the filling paper concerning MSD holding there is no link between JLJ united and MSD. I can share the email authorising JLJ united to bill me while you leon David Darden used another compagny to bill Me. Also i have a service report from a respectable technician in this field who assessed your supposed service you do not know how this fix laser you know how to scam people . I am willing to share also this service report. I am an honnest person and i have nothing to hide. I was just on DOTmed and seen Leon Darden listed as the President of The Refurb Shop. Is all these companies related.? I called JLJ United and ask for Leon Darden and he is working there as well. JLJ United and The Refurb Shop does the same service. I don't know who is telling the truth but all these companies look pretty suspect to me. Can someone please explain why you need three different companies to do the same service? Does the customers you servicing know they are doing business with the same people?

At one point I was considering leaving the JLJ United, Inc. Family. So I created the refurb shop. Like i stated in my claim for innocents I have all the conversation between me and Mr. Issa. I will be glad to forward this info to anyone who doubts my innocents you can see for your self that this is a false claim. You will be able to read his words and mine as well. No need for lies on my part or on the part of JLJ United, Inc.

If you really want to know the truth please contact me for the true information. I have not frauded anyone and I am willing to provide this information to prove it. I gave Mr. Issa solid information to have this matter taken care of and he chose to ignore it.

Once again The Refurb Shop was started when I was thinking about leaving JLJ United, Inc.and was made an offer to stay so, I left the site up as another avenue to help customer get what they need. Both sites now lead to JLJ United, Inc. and by the way we are not the only company that has more than one site. JLJ United, Inc. has been in business since 2001 there is nothing funny or strange about the company and they do business all over U.S. and Abroad.

P.S Who is MSD Holdings? I understand The Refurb Shop and JLJ United, Inc, but who is MSD Holding?

As we can observe Mr. Darden lack objectivity and try to creat diversion by not answering the real or core question: how come that i thought that i was dealing with JLJ united and i got charged by MSD Holding and the unit was sent to me broken. I beleive that he is a talented scammar and also if he was doing so i have proof that his partner at JLJ united were not all aware of what was going on or either they were part of the scam. I hope that my posting help other poeple or potential customer to beware.
Like I said before i am willing to share my email of approval to JLJ united and proof of the charges made to my account by MSD holding for the same period of time.I have no other goal or wishes than being sure that this scammer is slowed down in his scamming process. We all need to do business but not by frauding people.

The Refurb Shop, MSD Holding , and JLJ United, Inc is all owned by the same people. Please be aware if you are doing business with one, you are doing business with the other. They have lost several of my hand pieces I sent them.

The guy now own a company called Laser Services Unlimited. Please be aware of these people. His partner name is Lorenzo Flowers. They keep changing names to get away from people owe money. STAY AWAY!

I have done business with both companies and have not had any problems. The companies are not one in the same. These guys all use to work for JLJ United and now have started there own individual companies. JLJ UNITED started everything, then closed and three of the guys involved started three different companies. Aesthetic head pros, Laser Services Unlimited and The Refurb Shop.

I hope this helps all that are involved. I do know no companies can't make everyone happy. There will always be a customer that is not happy with the service or product they have purchased. Unfortunately bad news travels better than good news.

I do know that these guys have been around longer than most companies out there I have dealt with them for over 10yrs. They have changed names once in 10years do to the partnership breaking up. It happens in business.

I have done business several times with Leon (initially through JLJ and now Laser Services) for refurbishing of headpieces. I am completely satisfied with his work and assistance. We were having an issue with one handpiece going bad twice and he took it back and tested it for a week and made recommendations to update the water filters on the machine, and everything works well. He had no problems honoring the warranty he gave on the initial repair. I trust them completely and plan on using them again in the future.

We just tried to send the " Laser Services Unlimited" legal papers for hand pieces they supose to have repaired and never worked. The sheirff office say the building is now empty. Laser Services Unlimited is who repaired my hand piece; however my credit card statement reads The Refurb Shop. I spoke with Lorenzo Flowers when I first inquired and Leon was suppose to be the one repairing my hand piece. If anyone know how to contact Leon Darden or Lorenzo Flowers please inform me. I need a physical address.

As far as I know, there is only one company in the US that is not affiliated with Cutera, Inc., yet has requested and received information pursuant to 21 CFR 1040.10-11 from Cutera, Inc., and is supported by Cutera with training, special tools, and software. This is not a judgment against Mr. Darden, but many technicians feel they are doing the right thing when repairing a laser, and end up doing something wrong because they do not possess information pursuant to 21 CFR 1040.10-11. The only company you can trust to service your laser is one who can verify they have acquired service information directly from the manufacturer, and who has a track record of reliable service. You should not ship your laser to a repair depot unless you are out of the country. Even then, it may be more cost effective to have a technician come to you. This also protects your laser. Beware of those who say they can do more than they can prove they can. Be sure to check the credentials of those servicing your lasers, and make sure they abide by FDA laws. If you hire someone to repair your laser, and you don't make all these verifications, you are the only one at fault.

I have been doing medical laser/IPL repair for over 27 years.
JLJ/IPL Pro's and all the other front conpanies that Leon Darden/Jeffery Loveless/Lorezo Flowers are involved in will do nothing but steal your $ and leave you holding the bag!
IMO there in NOT ONE legitimate IPL head refurb conpany that knows what the hell they are doing!
It's just a gamble for them. They say they can repair/refurb your IPL head and carge you a lotof $ and just HOPE they get it right!
They are ALL nothing but hacks TRYING to understand IPL heads and get it right, thus far, no one has!
