Medical Technology
Interesting article in which Bill Gates faults the US for poor management of technology:
The United States “got off to a bad start” when it comes to using computers to keep data about its citizens, he said. Doctors are not allowed to share records about an individual patient, and virtual doctor visits are banned, he said, which “wastes a lot of money.” The United States “had better come up with a better model” for health care, he said.

How about just HAVING a Health Care Model first....then we can figure out how to make it user friendly/computer compatable/HIPPA Regulation savy...yada...yada...yada. If you don't have insurance, like a GREAT deal of the American citizens don't, the last thing you worry about is who is going to have access to it, and how it is going to be streamlined....got any ideas about that Bill?......
